3. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • All EstimAIte web applications

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that maintain their own privacy policies.

C. AI Prompts

EstimAIte uses artificial intelligence to assist with estimate generation.

When you interact with AI features, we collect the prompts you submit.

These prompts are processed in order to generate responses and improve your experience while using the Services.

At this time, EstimAIte transmits text prompts only to our AI service provider.

Uploaded files, photographs, blueprints, drawings, and other project documents are not transmitted to our AI provider unless we introduce such functionality in the future and update this Privacy Policy accordingly.


D. Payment Information

Subscription payments are securely processed by Stripe.

EstimAIte does not store your complete credit card number, security code (CVV), or other sensitive payment credentials.

Payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We may receive limited payment-related information such as:

6. AI Processing

EstimAIte incorporates artificial intelligence to assist users with generating construction estimates and related content.

When you submit a prompt, the prompt is transmitted to Anthropic through its commercial API solely for the purpose of generating a response.

At this time:

  • Only user-entered text prompts are transmitted to Anthropic.
  • Uploaded images, plans, blueprints, and documents are not transmitted to Anthropic.
  • AI responses are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies.
  • Users remain responsible for reviewing estimates before relying on them for bids, contracts, purchasing decisions, or project planning.

AI-generated estimates are intended as informational assistance and should not replace professional judgment.


7. AI Training

EstimAIte does not use customer prompts, project information, or account information to train its own artificial intelligence models.

Anthropic processes prompts solely to provide AI functionality through its API services.

If EstimAIte's AI data practices materially change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before implementing those changes.

8. How We Share Information

EstimAIte does not sell your Personal Information.

We may share information only in the circumstances described below.

A. Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf. These providers may process information only as necessary to perform their services for EstimAIte.

Examples include providers that assist with:

EstimAIte uses Anthropic's commercial API to generate AI-assisted responses.

When you submit a prompt using AI features, the text of your prompt is transmitted to Anthropic solely to generate the requested response.

As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy:

  • Only text prompts are transmitted.
  • Uploaded files, photographs, drawings, plans, and other project documents are not transmitted to Anthropic.
  • We encourage users not to include highly sensitive personal information in AI prompts unless necessary for the requested service.

C. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe.

Stripe independently collects and processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy practices.

EstimAIte does not receive or store complete payment card numbers or security codes.


D. Authentication Providers

If you choose to sign in using Google Sign-In, Google authenticates your identity.

EstimAIte receives only the account information you authorize Google to share.


E. Analytics Providers

We may share limited technical information with analytics providers to understand product usage and improve our Services.

Analytics providers may include:

  • Google Analytics
  • PostHog
  • Mixpanel

These providers may use cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies consistent with their own privacy policies.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy modifies or limits any disclaimers, warranties, or limitations of liability contained in EstimAIte's Terms of Service.
